There’s enough injustice in the world to keep you angry 24/7. But that’s not very useful (for actually solving those injustices). Though it’s OK to be angry from time to time cause it can be a very clear signal.

So what is it that you get angry about more often?
Btw, I wrote about this ~2 years ago and also made an “anger flow diagram.” Not sure if it still aligns fully with my thoughts now, but maybe you’d find it helpful:
Ok, on to today’s 100-day challenge posts!
day 5 - childhood friends | Irene JK | 12/08/2022
This is a late post as I am travelling this week. After years of planning a reunion with friends, the two of us finally made it. Friendships in the early 40s are a struggle, and to be able to treasure the bond even after the distances is a gift in this modern-day chaos.

Care Doesn't Scale | Made in Cosmos | 12/08/2022
I always thought I’m terrible at running a home. I hardly ever cooked, cleaned only when the mess got me angry, and in general saw household chores as a waste of time. Given a choice I’d always prefer to do something else than typical homemaking activities. It’s not like they had any lasting results anyway!

an alternate understanding of gossip | Yuelian Hong | 12/08/2022
I have a tendency to frown upon gossip as a mean-spirited habit; after all, “small minds discuss people,” or so the famous saying goes. But today, during one of my regular visits to see Inga in Dorsten (a small town about forty-five minutes away by car from where I live), I began to see gossip in a different light.

Ben Hunt at Epsilon Theory has a concept he calls a MacGuffin.
A MacGuffin is an Object of Desire, around which merry plots are constructed to thrill/amuse/frighten/engage the viewer.
A recurring topic of Ben's writing is how narrative drives our lives. A MacGuffin is the

PS.
I decided to just post the posts in the order they come in vs. the ones with images first and then those without images. I don’t think it matters too much, but it saves me a lot of time. I’m sure you won’t mind! 😘
