Coincidentally I had a good conversation about agency last night with the metaphor of playing a game/playing your own game as well.

That conversation sounds interesting... will you write about it? I'm currently reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. It's about game designers. I've saved some interesting quotes from it.

Ooh never heard of that book, I'll put it on my someday-maybe folder. What kinda quotes do you have from it that are interesting? (Or when are you gonna add them to a blogpost? 😉)

I won't write about the specific conversation (with a client). But I will definitely write (more) about the concept of "playing your own game." (I actually have a whole course curriculum for it 😲 and ~1/3 of exercises written.)

My most favourite quote: To allow yourself to play with another person is no small risk. It means allowing yourself to be open, to be exposed, to be hurt. I was going to somehow add that to my last piece about Gaming with Kids. Maybe I'll include that in another piece.
